Peter Brown’s charcoal drawing “Last
minute homework” - an intimate portrayal of his children
in the morning - has won widespread praise and the Prince
of Wales award for drawing at this year's Royal Portrait society
exhibition at the Mall Galleries.
Best known for his cityscapes, his exhibition
at Messums this year included a series of oil paintings depicting
the family at breakfast time.
