Being a Tourist
We’re in Tuscany for a couple of weeks. 8 of us enjoying life in the upper 30 degrees driving round Tuscany in the van. My first time here it is the most incredible undulating patterned landscape with hill top towns and views to die for! I’ve snuck one or two paintings and the sketchbook is getting a bashing but sometimes it’s fun to be a proper tourist.  It’s going to be strange returning to the East Anglian landscape after this!

My Italian is shocking – trying to order coffee with milk, I’ve ended up with a coffee ice cream and a cold latté. I’ll try macchiato next time.
