Christmas at Combe Park

It’s become something of a tradition in the Brown household for me to paint an interior and family portrait entitled ‘Christmas, Combe Park’. I’ve done one most years since 2015 at our home in Bath. The collection of images has become a chronicle of our five children growing up, and look out for cameo appearances from our decorative wicker penguin . . .

You may have noticed that 2020 is missing . . . I didn’t do one that year.  What with the lockdowns, I’d spent a lot of time in the house and did loads of interiors which featured in my ‘A Big Year‘ show.

I’ve already started this 2022’s (below) , , , Just waiting for the kids to arrive so they can sit on the stairs looking miserable!
